Face2Attend is designed to help employees securely mark attendance, access payslips, apply for leave, and use other work-related features.

2. What Personal Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data to provide and improve the App's services:
- Personal Information: Email, Date of Birth, number, and profile photo.
- Employment Information: CostCenter and Section.
- Attendance Data: Time and location of attendance marking, and selfie-verification images.
- Leave Information: Leave requests.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your personal data is used for the following purposes:
- Authentication and Profile Management: To verify your identity, create and manage your user account, and allow you to update your profile and password.
- Payroll Services: To enable you to view and download your payslips.
- Attendance Tracking: To record your attendance, including selfie and location verification, and to generate attendance reports.
- Leave Management: To process your leave requests.
- Communication: To send you important notices and updates regarding your employment or the App.
- App Improvement: To analyze app usage and crash reports to enhance functionality and user experience. We do not use this data for marketing purposes.
4. How We Store and Protect Your Data
We are committed to ensuring the security of your personal data. We implement the following measures:
- Secure Storage: Your login credentials and authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using expo-secure-store.
- Data Encryption: All communication between the App and our backend API is encrypted using HTTPS.
- Access Control: Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only.
- Data Retention: We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or as required by law.
- No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties. Data is shared only with our backend systems for the purposes described above.

The App may request the following permissions to enable its features:
- Camera: To take a selfie for attendance verification.
- Media Library/Storage: To download and save payslips and attendance reports to your device.
You can manage these permissions through your device's settings. Please note that disabling certain permissions may limit the App's functionality.
6. Your Rights
As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access: You can access your personal information through the App's profile section.
- Right to Correction: You can update your profile information directly within the App. For other corrections, you may need to contact the HR department.
- Right to Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal and contractual obligations.
- Right to Withdraw Consent: You can withdraw your consent for data processing at any time by uninstalling the App.
7. Compliance with Privacy Laws
We strive to comply with applicable data protection laws, including the principles outlined in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for any users who may be subject to it, and the Personal Data Protection as per the Law of Pakistan.
